Overview / Introduction

linkembed lets you create custom, branded pages for your links. You can show content (like Google Docs, Dropbox files, or any embeddable page) right on your own link, organize everything in folders, and use your own domain so every URL says your name.

What you can do

  • Embed links — Turn a normal web link into a page where the content loads directly (e.g. a Google Doc or Dropbox file). Visitors see the content without leaving your URL.
  • Redirect links — Create short, clean links that send people to another website when they click. Useful when a platform doesn’t allow embedding (e.g. Notion).
  • Organize with folders — Group links into folders. Each folder can have its own path in your URL (e.g. yourpage.com/payments, yourpage.com/downloads).
  • Use your own domain — Connect a custom domain so your links look like you (e.g. links.yourbrand.com instead of yourname.linkembed.io).
  • Protect with a password — Lock individual links behind a password so only people who have it can view the content.

How it works in practice

You sign in, pick a workspace (or create one), then add links. For each link you give a title, a short “slug” for the URL, and either embed code (or a simple https link) or a redirect URL. You can put links in folders and, on paid plans, use custom domains. When you share the link, visitors either see the embedded content or get redirected—all from one dashboard.

The rest of the docs walk you through getting started, creating your first link, and using folders, embeds, and custom domains. If something doesn’t load or you hit limits on certain platforms, check the Troubleshooting section.
